13th Annual International Conference of Gay & Lesbian Criminal Justice Professionals 9/1/2009 - 9/5/2009

GPOA in conjunction with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department will be hosting the 13th Annual International Conference of Gay & Lesbian Criminal Professional on September 1-5, 2009 in Palm Springs. Cruise to Baja California - Ensenada 5/29/2009 - 5/31/2009

Well 2009 is just around the corner. In the works already we have new and exciting events in the works.

In May 2009 we are planing to all take a cruise to Ensenada from 5/29 to 5/31. More information will come as we make the arrangements. Christmas Party 2008 12/4/2008 - 12/4/2008

For the fourth year in a row GPOA will be hosting our Christmas party in the West Hollywood area.

The cost for this event is $45.00 which will include tax, gratuity, food and drinks. The date for this event is December 4th,2008. Please spread the word to all who may not be members and are looking to meet other GLBT members in the law enforcement or fire fighting communities.

Last years Christmas Party was awesome, and we want to make this years even better. This is one of our biggest events and we hope to see you there.

Palm Springs PIP 9/1/2008 - 9/30/2008

Once again we will be headed to Palm Springs to have a great weekend of socializing and fun. Check your e-mails for the dates and times and get your rooms quick as they are going fast. This is a private event and only members and their guest are allowed to attend. If you are not a memeber, now is a good time to become a member and join us in the many yearly activites.

Aids Life Cycle 7 6/1/2008 - 6/7/2008

This was a huge success and we look forward to participating with even more members next year!

The GSPOA is looking to put an Aids Life Cycle team together for 2008, under the name of COPS FOR A CURE. If you’re interested in participating in this event as a participant or as a assistant we are in the process of establishing a team site where you can go to and register for this event. Please check this page for updates on this event. Our goal is to have 100 riders. This event is extremely important to finding a cure for AIDS and is open to Active Law Enforcement gay or straight.
